Paul J. Griffin retired from the Connecticut Judicial Department after 20 years of service. He received training at the Connecticut Chief of Police Academy in Meriden, CT and has a MALS from Wesleyan University. While employed in criminal justice, he received the Connecticut State Police Medal for Outstanding Service; this award was the result of his involvement in solving a cold case homicide.
William (Bill) T. Griffin retired from the Connecticut State Police after 20 years of service. Bill held the rank of Sergeant at the Casino Licensing & Operations Unit, responsible for the supervision of detectives assigned to the world’s largest casinos. Prior to his work at the casinos, Bill was assigned to Troop E in Uncasville, on the Internal Affairs Unit, Professional Standards Section responsible for conducting highly sensitive and confidential investigations of alleged inappropriate behavior by sworn and civilian employees. His work at Troop E, included the Instructorship of Principles of Ethical Supervision along with specialized training in; Interview and Interrogation, At-Scene Traffic Accident Investigation, and DWI Enforcement. While serving the Department of Public Safety, Bill received the Meritorious Service Award, Life Saving Award, and 3-Unit Citations. Bill received his BS in Marketing from Central Connecticut State University.
Sean M. Griffin, a 27 year veteran of the Groton Town Police Department, recently retired from the force and has joined his brother in providing superior investigative services with Griffin Private Investigations. Sean brings nearly three decades of law enforcement and investigative experience to the company. In addition to being a senior patrol officer, Sean for the past 10 years was the Community Service Officer servicing the navy housing area of Groton. Sean has received additional training at the Connecticut Chiefs of Police academy and Three Rivers Community College. Sean is committed to providing superior services through experience and family values.
