Griffin Private Investigations (GPI) is a family based investigative firm established in 2003, based upon a proud tradition of service along with over 100 years of law enforcement and investigative experience. In addition, GPI employs fully qualified investigative associates who are retired law enforcement officials with advanced training in their fields of expertise. In 2003, brothers Gerald and Paul Griffin founded the company sighting the need for professional investigative work in the private sector. William Griffin joined the firm in 2009 bringing with him extensive service with the Connecticut State Police.

The Griffins are retired Law Enforcement Officers having spent 20 years in their respective careers. GPI enjoys a close working relationship with local, state and Federal enforcement agencies along with a complete understanding of State and Federal Criminal Courts.

The Griffins have investigated hundreds of cases in their present capacity and have demonstrated a respect for their clients and have also strived to represent their client best interest in difficult criminal and civil investigations.

GPI's specific fields of interest are criminal and court issues, pre-trial consultation and personal injury investigations. GPI also reviews and investigates police internal affairs matters, workmen compensation cases and surveillance, trailing and locating of subjects. Griffin also performs other investigative tasks as needed by the client. Reports submitted by Griffin investigations are generally notarized by the investigator or a member of the staff.
